  • Student subject to drug testing: 34 percent said they "definitely will" or "probably will" do drugs in the next 12 months, compared with 33 percent of comparable students in schools without the program.
What tests look for
  • Marijuana
  • Cocaine
  • Opiates (Heroin, Opium)
  • Amphetamines (meth, speed, morphine)
  • PCP

Question: Do you think that drug testing is a good way to spend school funds?

Answer: No. Schools are always complaining about budget cuts and how little money they have. Drug testing isn’t as effective as it has been made out to be, so going without it would just give the school some extra money.

Common tests Most common tests that schools use can’t detect some very common drugs like:
  • Ecstasy
  • LSD
  • Ketamine
  • 2C-B (or anything in the 2C family)
  • Mushrooms
Popular Drugs Right Now
  • The most popular drugs that are going around high schools today are Ecstasy, Mushrooms, LSD and Marijuana.
  • ¾ will not show up on the standard school drug test.
  • Plenty of kids being tested in schools could come back with negative test results simply because the drugs that they do will only show up on a, more expensive, extended drug test.
How do teens pass drug tests?

You may be asking yourself, how are teens passing drugs tests if they’re doing drugs?

Detoxification pills.

Detox is a simple pill that people can buy at any smoke shop. Once taken, it will clear your system of any drug that you may have taken. (The only drug that will never be cleared out is Acid [LSD] because, once taken, it stays in the persons spine for life.
